MoreSince joining the band in March of this year Adam is already making his presence felt! Together with a powerful vocal range and a professional approach, his energy and dynamic personality are making him a force to be reckoned with. Adam is a natural entertainer, and never afraid to throw everything he has into his performance.
A veteran of the Redditch and Birmingham underground rock scenes, Mark spent the last fifteen years in bands such as Lilsumo and Keiko. During his time with the latter he toured extensively around the UK (in one year clocking up over 120 gigs), released an indie-label EP, performed at the Download Festival, demoed for major labels, and generally had a whale of a time whilst being stony broke. After a year or two off the drum stool, he’s enjoying the variety of music he gets to tackle with Ginger Mule.
Andy first picked up a guitar at the age of 11. His uncle Rick Price (who played alongside Roy Wood in The Move and Wizzard) taught Andy his first three chords, and he hasn't looked back since. Andy has been playing guitar for over 30 years in several rock covers bands around the Midlands, including Overlord (set up with some college mates in the early 80's), Rebus, Crambazzled and Dr. Rock.
Growing up in the North East of England, Phil spent his formative years studying classical guitar. However, the lure of 'being in a band' proved too much, and the six string acoustic was replaced by a four string bass - the first of many, it must be said. The following twenty years were spent in classic rock covers bands MVB, England in Flames, Cemetery Junction and A Matter of Taste. Following a move to Birmingham and a desire to play a broader range of music, Phil placed some adverts, and Ginger Mule was born…
When asked about musical influences, Dek’s list ranges from the most melodic pop to the impossibly obscure. A self-taught musician, his enthusiasm and a keen interest in music and music technology has led to him being involved in numerous studio-based collaborations. He says of Ginger Mule – “This has been a great opportunity for me to be creative, and get involved with some great musicians in front of a live audience!” Text
